Nuu Clothes by Claire

My work combines a love of textiles, recycling, and curiosity. I like challenging how materials can be used and finding new life in what already exists. Each piece is made with care, using upcycled fabrics and unexpected textures. I want the work to feel Nuu— the Japanese word for sewn. I love that it sounds like new, because everything I make is sewn, not manufactured; personal, not perfect.
